1. Create your account
Choose a username, e-mail address and password on the registration page. The character deletion code is asked for when you delete a character in the game; keep it somewhere safe.
2. Download and install the game
Download the client from the download page, extract it to a folder and start the game. You can compare the MD5 / SHA-256 value of the downloaded file with the one shown on the download page.
3. Choose your empire
- Shinsoo (red)
- Chunjo (yellow)
- Jinno (blue)
The empire is chosen per account; every character on the same account carries the same flag. Choosing the same empire as your guild and friends is a big advantage in battle.
4. Choose your class and doctrine
Pick Warrior, Ninja, Sura or Shaman. When you reach level 5, talk to your class master to choose your doctrine (skill path). If you can't decide, have a look at the class guide.
5. Tips for your first hour
- Completing the quests in the village speeds up the first levels.
- Metin stones drop experience and valuable items; pick stones close to your own level.
- Focusing your skill points on a single skill is more effective early on.
- If you run into a problem, open a support ticket from the user panel.
